  1. Resolved Question: Women: Which of These Men Would You Get to Know?
  2. 7 Jun 2008 at 5:22pm
. Man A He comes from a very wealthy, prestigious family, where you have butlers serving and catering to his every whim and need. His parents put him through an Ivy league college and bought him a 2009 Benz. He also likes to party with his friends in exclusive L.A. clubs. Soon he?ll take over the thriving family import/export business, so he?s basically well off. While average/ok looking, he?s seems interested in having a fling with woman - nothing serious ? and also plays golf, dines and travels. Lots of people say that he?s everything from spoiled, arrogant and ambitious. (continue) . . Man B He basically does what he wants, when he wants, and doesn?t give a hoot about what people think of him. He barely graduated from high school, and went to community college and works as a teacher. He grew up in a poor-middle class family, and drives an old Toyota. He?s had to overcome lots of adversity growing up, but owned up to his mistakes. Women say that he is an instant head turner that makes them weak at their knees. Despite the initial impression of seeming aloof and uncaring, close relatives say that he?s actually sensitive and listens, but does not show it in fear of being labeled weak. (continue) . . Man C Growing up in a middle class family, he basically went the route of graduating from high school and college, landing a computer job. Initial impressions include the prim and proper demeanor and attire. Outsiders speak well of him, and want their children to be like him when they grow up. He dreams someday of marrying a beautiful, attractive women, but has a hard time attracting them as they seem not to be interested. He thinks that if he keeps on trying, asking, then a woman of his choosing will fall in love with him. He feels he has a lot to offer, and can take good care of her. Now, I'm sure there are a lot of variables involved, and the complexities that comes with getting to know someone (perhaps seriously). But let's say that in your own town, if you knew of these three "types" of men, which would draw more closer to you, and speak your language/personality so to speak. I would be interested in hearing the reasons. .

  3. Resolved Question: Question about Golf?
  4. 7 Jun 2008 at 5:13pm
Why does it matter if ya follow through on your golf swing ? Once the ball leaves the tee it wouldn't matter if you just suddly stop. As long as you gave it your all once ya hit the ball, i don't see what it matters. Aint like the ball is gonna hook left just because you dropped the club. You already hit the ball.

  21. Resolved Question: Question about ultimate frisbee lingo?
  22. 7 Jun 2008 at 3:53pm
so I am making some custom onesies (baby outfit) for father's day and my brother in law is an ultimate frisbee player (also plays disc golf) and I wanted to make a onesie that said something like "My dad's ______ is better than your dad's" but I am too unfamliar with the common/popular lingo. There is a website I found with different "moves" or "passes" and what they are called, but again, I don't know which ones are common and which aren't (obviously I would rather a more common term) Any help would be so appreciated! Thanks! Also if you have any other cute ideas to put on a onesie regarding ultimate frisbee, etc. that would be helpful too-- I thought about something like "I'd rather be disc golfing with my dad" or something, but I don't know whats "cool"

  23. Resolved Question: Which one of these irritates you the MOST???
  24. 7 Jun 2008 at 3:41pm
Which ONE of the following bothers you the most (if any)? Fat chicks with "princess" stickers on their cars Those base/golf/foot/tennis ball half through the windshield with "shattered glass" around it "Women" who have convertables with license plate frames that state "I take my top off when it's hot"-or some variation of that The calvin "piss on" stickers The "nuts" that hang off the back of a truck **Which one of those are the most obnoxious in your opinion? (of all of those, the license plate frame is probably my biggest pet peeve.... just trashy as hell) Although in terms of being plain rude/offensive, the truck nuts are horrible. I don't want my kids seeing those. Jerry, that is probably the next one for me... something about those "broken window" stickers is SOOOO stupid. "Oh, haha, look, a ball is stuck in my windshield, and I actually spent money on the thing!"... lol, they just bug me... seeing one of those today is what sparked this question actually.

  45. Resolved Question: Is he interested in Me?
  46. 7 Jun 2008 at 2:15pm
A guy I knew a while back found me on Facebook (of all places) and we started talking, a lot. we had a lot in common and flirted some. He finally said that we should go out to eat sometime, and we did. We had a great time and went to see a movie that night (he paid for everything and opened doors and everything). At the end of the night he said he'd call me and gave me a hug. He did call, and we went mini golfing and hung out for a while on our 2nd date. Same thing, he said he'd call, and gave me a hug. Last night was our 3rd "date"-I went to watch his band play, and then he "hinted" to his friends that he wanted to leave with me (which I thought was cute), and we went back to his place for a while. But same thing-he gave me a hug and said he'd talk to me later. Is he interested? I think he is, because he flirts with me, but besides hugging, he hasn't even touched me! He always pays for everything and is a gentleman, but I just cant read his signals!

  51. Resolved Question: name of an old 70s or 80s movie with color coded teams?
  52. 7 Jun 2008 at 1:44pm
I seem to remember some movie I saw on tv when I was a kid. I barely remember it. I remember there being color coded teams in some kind of race or scavenger hunt. I seem to remember part of it was at a mini golf course, but I may be wrong. The teams I think wore colored shirts. Can anyone identify this movie? I've been unable to find it through search engines or asking friends/family. Thats it! I can't figure out how to mark this question as closed and that you have the best answer though midnight madness I mean

  57. Resolved Question: Flirty Husband?
  58. 7 Jun 2008 at 12:45pm
My husband made friends with a co worker, all 3 of us work together, although I'm not there that much becasue it isn't my main job. He had been helping her move, hugging her, posing for pics, playing golf with her ex husband, and even had a secret handshake only the two of them know (no, we are not in junior high) He did all this without telling me about any of it, and when I was around he would stay away from her, I almost never even saw them talking to each other, but then i find out when i'm not around he's a totally different person. Who's wrong here, him for behaving this way or me for being upset?

  61. Voting Question: Need Help!!?
  62. 7 Jun 2008 at 12:04pm
I need to purchase some clubs and could use some help! I need to find the best set of golf improving clubs. I am a strong 10 handicap (use to be lower) so please give me your serious advice. I am a med student so I only have around $300. I am leaning towards Mizuno mx23's, but I want to see if anyone has any serious negative thoughts about these clubs or if they know of some that are better. Thanks John S, can you please provide more info. I need to know if you are a low handicap...what's good about them...have you ever hit mizuno's to compare...thanks! Thanks for your response wbaker77. I have done quite a bit of research and have hit the mx25s as well as some others. the problem is...all new clubs are $600+...I have a budget of $300 and so that means i will probably be buying 2006's best irons and stores don't always have those...that's why I was hoping someone could point me in a direction of some good clubs...so that I can go look for them to go try. I am just wanting some suggestions on specific models...so that I can start comparing them. Like yonex...are those strong clubs? how bout ben hogan apex? thanks. Guys, I just want some different opinions on various irons that low handicap players found they liked! That's all. Not asking you to pick my clubs for me.

  66. 7 Jun 2008 at 11:08am
Let me start by saying I usually shoot in the low 90's high 80's so I'm by no means a good golfer. But recently, my swing has gone down the tubes. As I start my back swing everything feels uncomfortable and when I get to the top, I have this feeling that I need to adjust my grip or I'm not going to hit the golf ball. This feeling only occurs when I'm standing over the ball. My practice swings still feel rather fluid. So, is this a mental thing I'm going through or does the feeling I'm describing sound like anything anyone has ever heard before? I mean, I know that when I'm swinging I must be making some kind of flaw, but what could it be based on how my grip feels at the top? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  91. Resolved Question: I dreamt I cut off my right hand, what does this mean?
  92. 7 Jun 2008 at 1:19am
I was looking at my right arm. All of a sudden I thought about what it would be with out my right hand. Next thing, I saw my right hand cut off, and I panic, I can see the white of the bone, and it was cut in a slanted cut. no blood coming out of it, as if it had been cut for a while and my skin was pale. I thought about just sticking it back together and see if it would start healing, for some odd reason in the dream it was normal for people to stick it together. I tried that but it would hold for a couple seconds and then it would come off again. I tried holding it until I got to the hospital, I couldn't get a good running car to take me. First the only car I was able to get was like a golf car and second the road to the hospital was full of obstacles like no pavement, rocks and mud everywhere. When I finally got to the hospital, it was like a research facility, it was dark already and the doctors where doing research on the outside. I got there and my hand had actually stuck and started to heal but it was healing wrong. It was slanted and twisted to the right. I freaked out and tried to take it off myself. Finally the doctors took me in. Fixed it, only to wake me up, take a break and noticing my hand was only sown together but the bone was not stapled or anything and it was hanging. That was it. Then I really woke up and my hand was actually hurting from elbow up and my lower hand was numb.
