I have been racking my brain for a 30th b-day party idea. I need something completely awesome for someone who doesn't have any unusual interests. All I have right now is getting everyone together at a sports bar and that just is way too far from being good enough. So let me tell you a little about him first. He likes the beach, likes playing tennis, is very funny and it's important to him to be considered funny, likes to drink and go to bars and loves all the mma, ufc stuff. I had an idea that maybe I could rent a boxing/fighting ring for a couple hours and we could all go there and fight each other. Seriously. But with sparring or boxing gloves. I thought it sounded fun personally altho I don't know how other people would react. What do you think? Feel free to ask me more questions. Thank you so much!

I've taken Spanish for the past three years, excelled in it, but am questioning as to whether or not I should take it for a fourth year. I've taken numerous APs and have had great success in them, possess a high GPA, leadership, extra-curriculars, varsity sport (tennis), member of National Honor Society, and am a columnist in my local paper. If I decide to stick with three years, would this jeopardize my chances of getting into a school like UPenn, Cornell, or Dartmouth? Or would my other achievements outweigh this factor?

I always thought she was hot. Playboy isnt like some hardcore porn mag, Its more artsy than it is exploitive, so I think its a great choice and she will be the firat tennis player in their, no, kournikova didnt pose. What do you think? I know her tennis is at a standstill, she is just another crafty,small player with lack of power, but she is 50-60th in the world, what is your ranking? not a lot of people win slams, and I think she deserves to pose more than kardashian or paris hilton, would you agree. Its very clear how different those two are.For one, they don even look alike.Serena is bigger, Venus is tall and lean, not even mascular. Serena is the spoilt lil sister, often too self-centered and too much of a diva.Venus is the reserved big sister, often just looking after her lil sister..sometimes i think she only backs up Serena bcoz she doesn't want her to get mad at her or something. I have a feeling Serena takes too much after their father.Heck, she even look like their father, while Venus looks a lot more like their mother.Everytime i see their mother i see an older version of Venus. I'm a fan of both sisters but Venus is the coolest, most likeable sister.

Please someone help me when I was a child I had a nice flat stomach, now I am starting to look a little pudgy although I am tall, so it makes me look better, but summer is coming up and by next school year, I want to look at least thinner with a flat stomach if not the abs. I don't get why I am turning how I am all of family is tall and muscular and I eat the most perfect of anybody I know(except for my mom). And I play Soccer and Tennis so I don't get what is wrong with me.

I have been playing DDR for about 3 years now and I have to say that I'm pretty good. I'm into the standard-heavy modes. I was wondering if all of these movements and steps would help improve my coordination in tennis. It seems to me like it would, but I've kind of stopped playing DDR and I was thinking that if it would help my tennis I should start back up again. i dont understand this. guys tell me im hot and pretty. i get random compliments from people on the street about how pretty my hair is. and how beautiful my eyes are. im a healthy skinny. im 5 foot 5 and 120 pounds. im smart (honor roll), athletic (tennis varsity), and have tons of friends. however i dont have the self confidence i wish i had. how do i gain more self confidence?

I would like to attend a private school in New England and am open to anything. GPA: 94 unweighted which is a 3.8-3.9 on the 4.0 scale SAT: Only taken them once: 2400 scale: 1850, 1600 scale: 1210, 640 writing 640 reading 570 math, am going to take them again in june, and SAT II's I did poorly 560 in English Literature and 600 in US Hist but I will probably take them again in october. AP Classes Taken or will take: 5- US Hist, Bio, Euro Hist, Physics, English. Activities: 4 years of tennis, 4 years of golf, 2 years Spanish Club, 2 years of Pennserve(volunteer work), National Honor Society Secretary. Programs: Spoke at The Wall in DC representing my school on Veteran's Day, attending a medical program in Boston this summer for 10 days, and a Pre Calculus program at my local college for 4 credits. Language: 4 years of Spanish Rank: top 10th percentile So if there is anything i need to improve on let me know please. Are there any other colleges you would suggest? I just bought a Gamma lead tape and when I arrived home I read the back and it said, "Warning: This product is known to the state of California to cause cancer." All I am going to do with the lead tape is put it on my tennis racket. Should I worry about it causing cancer for myself? Note: I will only touch the lead tape and it will probably come close to my face when I apply it. I won't consume it lol

Like every other summer, I will spend my days -working [well, in my case, babysitting every day.] -hanging out with my friends -taking art classes and teaching myself guitar -playing tennis - visiting family in a different state -etc. However, I want to do something out of the ordinary... Does moisture really affect the strings of a tennis racquet? Heat? [just from being in like really hot weather], Humidity? Frigidity? Etc. This guy told me it does nothing to your racquet.. Does it all do anything to 'hurt' your tennis strings? Or does it all just depend on the kind/type you use? What about grommets?* I'm going to use the extremely old 'Donnay Grand Prix Oversize' Racquet that my dad used to use, and I accidentally got the grommet ports/side of the racquet all soaked--in regular liquid soap though--should I just wash the dry-sticky soap off now? [on the side-----this racquet is unstrung as of the moment, but I'm getting it strung later; its grommets still seem to be in good condition though, I'm just worried about the washing with water and the soap, and if they will harm the rest of the racquet's years of playability, lol] Will it affect the whole racquet in any way? :[ I had two of these racquets, but the spare I guess broke, because when I was serving, it had old leather grip..and my hands were sweaty..and then..*slip* and *crack/break* goes the racquet. :[ So now I'm using the second, and last one.

* She'll be back in late August. Was in my tennis class last spring and there was some chemistry (mutual flirting). However, I'm very shy, and I think she is too, so I didn't really pursue at all until a week before she left. With finals and all, there was no time to hang out or anything so we're just keeping in touch on myspace and stuff. I'm going to be graduating in December and might move out of state. I've never had a girlfriend and only been on one fluke date. I'd kind of written off the idea of even trying until this one came along. Would you even bother pursuing during the fall given that you were moving (far away) in ~January? Oh, and I'm apprehensive about dating because I have almost zero social life, no real friends, etc. I depend almost entirely on my parents and siblings for stuff to do other than school and work. Don't want to be preceived as a loser. I wouldn't even know how to really ask her out and what to do. I have zero experience.

it should be 3 inches + and i want the heel to be a wedge, with a seemless transition between the wedge part and the heel part. i want them to look like flat tennis-shoes under my jeans :) something along the lines of this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2028/2406154716_3b8152a29d.jpg?v=0 in white or black, and with the wedge going straight down in the back and being just as wide as the shoe, not narrow like the one in the photo. i've been looking EVERYWHERE. any help is greatly appreciated!

Wow, what is up with the hate towards the sisters? They were both represnting the U.S. in tennis and even Americans hate them? I can see why Maria Sharapova is not playing for USA. Many Americans were happy when they got eliminated today. I mean Ashe and Blake are way worser than the William sisters and people still love them. At first, I thought it was going to affect just the smaller matches. Now, it is even affecting grand slams. If you really love tennis, PLEASE take the time to send a quick letter to whatever channel carries tennis in your area, as well as the ATP and WTA. We must fight for the revival of proper TV coverage for tennis.

Ok so I'm a middle school girl (I'm 12- in 6th grade, going into 7th) And Ive been playing soccer since 3rd grade on a really competitive soccer team, (its a club, ann arbor united) and well- now that were older, its just sooo competitive, and I guess im not that good now that our team is better so i guess im not playing for fun anymore...and my dad and my teammates arent exactly supportive when i screw up... so we have tryouts in june- and i dont want to go!! but i need some excersise- any ideas?? - we have a HUGE climbing gym with teams and all about 15 minutes away- rock climbing sounds fun also, summer vacation is coming up and i could try a camp there 2 see if I like it -tennis- i usually do tennis camps in the summer, and im ok at it- but i could do it seriously? -basketball im pretty good at basketball, and I think I would be good as a competitive player. rRight now I play on a REc&ed team that only seasons in WInter. Helpp

Hello. Im 18 and I went one semester to the Unviersity of North Carolina with a tennis scholarship. Im interested in learning french and would like to go to Europe ( specifiaclly France or Switzerland to learn french) and go the university there.
